Welcome to Dave Menzies Photography I’ve been into photography since my early teens. My first “serious” camera was a Russian made Zenith SLR. I joined the photography club at high school and built a small darkroom in a walk-in cupboard in my bedroom.
It may have been a heavy, clunky old mechanical contraption but I loved it and learned a lot with it. I even took pictures of John McEnroe playing Jimmy Connors on Wimbledon centre court while sitting on my dad’s shoulders.
Over the years as digital photography more or less replaced 35mm film and prints, I worked my way through Praktica, Fuji and Olympus DSLRs, finally settling for my current Canon 7D.
These days I use the camera for video marketing purposes a lot but I do have a portfolio of photographs which I sell online. I work with a fabulous company who turn my images into prints, canvas’s, posters and acrylic wall art. These can be seen at Dave Menzies Photography on the link below.
You can view the images in a room setting in various sizes and even adjust the colour of the wall they are mounted on to match your own.
I take photos of anything that catches my eye. You’ll find everything from landscapes to abstract images in the portfolio which you can access on the link below.
