In deciding how to choose an internet marketing mentor – who should you follow and learn from online these days in other words, you need to be picky. When you get into the digital marketing industry (and you probably should) You will soon start to find that there are a lot of leaders out there specialising in and offering products and training on all sorts of stuff. If you follow that process it’s easier to identify the go to people for each strategy. Trying to master everything at the same time or to follow multiple leaders is a recipe for disaster.

Its simple stuff really but like the strategies themselves, you have to be strategic about your marketing education. It’s the biggest part of how to choose an internet marketing mentor.
On top of all this also bear in mind that you are not aiming to copy these people. They’ve spent time and money creating their personal brands. That’s why they stand out in a crowded marketplace. You can’t be Stuart Ross or James Wedmore or Frank Kern … they already exist. You can learn a hell of a lot from them but at the end of the day you need to be you – no matter what strategy you choose to tell the world about you.
Luckily though, rather than looking at what all these amazing people have built and thinking “I could never do that”, you can simply leverage their authority temporarily. You can align yourself with them and kind of “borrow” their authority.

The good guys will make it worth your while to learn from them: You learn from them and then tell your own followers how good it’s been for you. In simple terms that’s one of the best things about affiliate marketing.
